When I was in college, we would go out and eat at Greenwich if we crave for something fast food. I have this friend who always order chicken and rice which comes with a gravy. He will soak his rice with gravy, finish it and eat the chicken afterwards. I will surely share this recipe to him so he can make as many gravy as he want. 🙂

This gravy is so easy and you can use it at different dishes like fried chicken, steaks and mashed potato.

Gravy Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • ¼ chicken cube
  • 1/2 Liter water
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh milk
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in the pan. Add the flour and chicken cube. Gradually add water and mix thoroughly.
  2. Add pepper, milk and soy sauce. Adjust the taste depending on your preferred saltiness.
