When I was in college, we would go out and eat at Greenwich if we crave for something fast food. I have this friend who always order chicken and rice which comes with a gravy. He will soak his rice with gravy, finish it and eat the chicken afterwards. I will surely share this recipe to him so he can make as many gravy as he want. 🙂
This gravy is so easy and you can use it at different dishes like fried chicken, steaks and mashed potato.

- 1.5 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- ¼ chicken cube
- 1/2 L water
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ cup fresh milk
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Melt the butter in the pan. Add the flour and chicken cube. Gradually add water and mix thoroughly.
- Add pepper, milk and soy sauce. Adjust the taste depending on your preferred saltiness.
