  • 1/4 Cup Annatto Seed
  • 3/4 Cup Cooking oil olive


  1. In a medium heat, place the cooking oil in a saucepan.
  2. once the oil is heated, put the annatto seeds in the oil.
  3. stir it continuously and turn of the heat once the bubbles are formed.
  4. let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, then drain.
  5. the annatto oil is now ready to use in your recipe.
