Hi Guys, welcome to another episode of Foodie Pinoy. Today were going to cook a common Filipino afternoon snack, Banana cue!
banana cue in skewers. is an easy and healthy afternoon snack that you can prepare for your kids! Enjoy!
- 10 pcs banana saba
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup oil
- bamboo skewers
Set the stove in medium heat and pour in the oil
Once the oil is hot enough, add the banana
Fry for 3-4 mins while stirring once in a while until the banana is cooked
Once the banana is starting to brown, add 2 spoonful of sugar.
Set the stove to low medium setting and stir gradually while the sugar caramelize
Add more sugar if necessary and continue to stir until the banana is fully coated with sugar.
Immediately remove the banana from the oil and arrange in bamboo skewer.
