Here’s our steamed fish with garlic, ginger soy sauce. This is an easy and flavorful recipe that you can prepare for lunch or dinner. Enjoy!

  • 1 medium size pompano
  • salt
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 thumb size ginger


  1. First were going to prepare the fish. Rub salt in the fish then stuff the inside with half of the garlic and ginger
  2. Then wrap the fish in a foil and place the remaining garlic and ginger on top of the fish.
  3. Steam the fish for 20 Minutes 

  4. while waiting for the fish to steam prepare the garlic, ginger soy sauce In a pot, add 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp sugar 2 cloves garlic and 1/2 thumb size ginger

  5. Add around 1/4 cup of water and bring to boil in low to medium heat
  6. Stir the mixture until the sugar is fully dissolve and let it simmer for 5 mins
  7. After 20 mins, our fish is now cooked!
  8. discard the liquid then , add the soy sauce and garnish with spring onion

  9. Enjoy!
